Karen Marcus, MD

Dr. Marcus’s primary interest is in pediatric malignancies. Although she is chiefly a clinician, her “translational research” is in the role of angiogenesis in specific pediatric tumors such as neuroblastoma. Her clinical work has been in improving treatment in pediatric soft tissue sarcomas and pediatric lymphomas, as well as in the late effects of therapy.

Arthur Liu, MD, PhD

Dr. Liu’s clinical interest is pediatric radiation oncology and he is the Director of Pediatric Radiation Oncology.  He works closely with the physicians at The Children’s Hospital Colorado.  In addition to his clinical duties, he is the Residency Program Director and is Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs and Quality.  His research interests include late effects of radiation therapy, quantitative structural brain imaging and application of novel radiation approaches in childhood malignancies.
