Dr. Laskar is a professor of Radiation Oncology from the Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, India. She has trained and practiced Radiation Oncology at the TMC for 17 years. Her expertise lies in the multimodality treatment of Head and Neck and Esophageal malignancies. Dr. Laskar has a keen interest in the treatment of these cancers with particular expertise in precision EBRT techniques, brachyterapy. She has participated in several investigator initiated and industry supported trials in these areas and has several publications in peer reviewed journals. She has also served 10 years in teh Data monitoring and Safety Sub Committee of the Ethics in the Institute with 4 of these as the Secretary of the Committee and member of the IEC. Dr. Laskar has been a teacher for MD (Radiotherapy) since 2009.
Dr. Kausik Bhattacharya
Consultant Radiation Oncologist

Dr Kausik Bhattacharya is a consultant in Radiation Oncology at Apollo Cancer Institute, Hyderabad. He was trained at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and subsequently at Charite University, Berlin.
His main clinical area of interest is Head and Neck malignancies. For last ten years, he has been practicing IMRT, IGRT, in Head and Neck cancers and is an early adopter of use of metabolic imaging based and adaptive radiotherapy.
As a part of Institutional Head and Neck Group, he is responsible for the organ preservation protocols, joint head and neck academic meetings and rehabilitation programs.
He is a very keen teacher and his teaching career extends from being an Asst Professor at Regional Cancer Centre, Cuttack to being a faculty, guide and examiner for the National Board of Examinations. He is also a regular faculty at the Indian College of Radiation Oncology and has a busy teaching calendar throughout the year.

Dr Gagan Saini is working as Principal Consultant, Radiation Oncology at Max Institute of Cancer Care (EAST) at Vaishali and Patparganj (Delhi,NCR). He is incharge of disease management groups of Head and Neck cancers, Neuro-Oncology and Uro-Oncology. He is trained from the prestigious AIIMS and has an active interest in academics and research.
He is associated with National accreditation Board as a quality assessor. He has published many peer-reviewed papers in national and international journals in his academic journey.

Dr.Cessal Kainickal MD, DNB, is an Additional Professor working in Head and Neck specialty clinic, Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum, Kerala. He is involved exclusively in the Head & Neck cancer treatment for the last 15 years. His interests include IMRT, organ preservation protocols and treatment of the elderly. He is very much interested in training the Oncology residents. Dr.Cessal has developed an interactive case based teaching module in head and neck cancer. Dr. Cessal’s Chartrounds sessions will utilize these teaching modules to address the management of head and neck cancer subsites, and should be particularly useful for residents and fellows.
