Vedang Murthy, MD, DNB, DipEPP, is a Professor and Radiation Oncologist at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, a premier oncology centre in Asia. Dr Murthy’s area of expertise is in Urological Cancer. He has special interest in high precision radiotherapy procedures such as Image Guided Radiotherapy and Adaptive Radiotherapy. Dr. Murthy did his training in the field of Radiation Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital in 2002 before going to the United Kingdom where he worked at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Hospital, London for a period of 4 years in the Academic Radiotherapy Unit. He also undertook a Diploma in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the London School of Health and Tropical Medicine. He has over 70 publications in peer reviewed international journals. Dr Murthy is currently running several investigator initiated clinical trials including randomised controlled trials in prostate and bladder cancer and is a part of international co-operative groups in GU Oncology. The main areas of interest within GU oncology are high risk prostate cancer, SBRT for prostate and kidney cancer, oligometastatic prostate cancer, bladder preservation and adjuvant radiotherapy in bladder cancer.
Indranil Mallick, MD

Dr Indranil Mallick MD DNB is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata. He did his MD in Radiotherapy from PGIMER Chandigarh and received further specialist training in Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, followed by a Fellowship in Radiation Oncology at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto (University of Toronto).
He specializes in the treatment of Genitourinary Cancers, Head and Neck Cancers and Gastrointestinal Cancers. His clinical interests include the use of hypofractionated and stereotactic radiotherapy for prostate cancer, IMRT and risk stratification in head and neck cancer and neoadjuvant treatment of esophageal and rectal cancer. He also has a special interest in Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) protocol development and leads the IGRTOnline course and the Varian Advanced Imaging School. He is actively engaged in clinical research and has several publications in leading international peer reviewed journals.
